No, its not my birthday, or anyone’s birthday in my family or circle of friends. But I ran across this cake today in my internets wandering:
I had to post it, due to my sister’s unhealthy mustache obsession (though she prefers her husband clean shaven… perhaps so she doesn’t confuse fantasy with reality? lol). But who can blame her, Tom Selleck is the handsomest.
Anyway this cake was created by Alicia for her friend’s birthday. She says:
I will say that I have never made a cake that was so well received and complimented (despite its decorative flaws, the blistering hot journey it had to its destination, and all the little things I did not get just right…), and my friend truly did have and happy (and hairy) birthday.
Now I just need to find a Christian Bale cake and a Sam Elliot cake. YUM!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I’m totally speechless! I’m stuck somewhere between the awe that someone actually had the talent to make it, the envy of the friend she made it for and the indecisiveness over that fact that I’m not sure if I would want to eat it or hang it on my wall!
